OSF is a non-governmental association (NGO) that was created with the purpose of bringing opera to all those groups that have traditionally been excluded from it, in order to make their conflicts visible through opera theater.
We understand opera as an instrument of social transformation, not as an element of entertainment only available to a few.
Opera, as an integrating art, in which music, dance, theater and plastic arts converge, is the ideal vehicle to place the most disadvantaged groups at the center of creation and thus help them to solve their conflicts.
